At 2:02 p.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory in effect until 11 p.m. for Central Oregon.
The weather service adds to expect, "Patches of light freezing drizzle has made for slippery roadways, bridges and sidewalks. Even though the precipitation is light and patchy, due to the cold temperatures, any freezing drizzle that occurs could create slippery conditions."
