Description
For as serenely as the past few months have come and gone for the Sherwood softball team, an uneven start would have been entirely understandable, if not downright expected.
The Lady Bowmen swung their way to the Class 6A semifinals last season, then entered the offseason full of hope, slatted to return nearly all of their contributors this season. A carousel of coaching changes at the top, however, ushered in inconsistency and threatened to sidetrack a team unified in their goal to push to a state title game.
