Trey Ohrtman, a transfer athlete, plays for West Linn High School during a September 2025 match against Grant High School.

When soccer player Trey Ohrtman weighed the decision to transfer from South Eugene to West Linn High School for his senior year, he knew the choice wasn’t simple. Leaving Eugene meant saying goodbye to teammates he had built deep relationships with and moving two hours away to start fresh.
