Deputies arrest Noti man after shots fired   
  
On October 23rd at about 3:30 p.m., Lane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a dispute with shots fired in the 88900 block of Poodle Creek Road, north of Noti. They safely detained the suspect, Thorin David Rogers, 36, of Noti, and contacted several witnesses. Deputies learned Rogers had shot at tires on a vehicle to prevent victims from leaving, while a juvenile was in the vehicle. The victims were able to flee on foot.   
  
After additional investigation, Rogers was arrested and lodged at the Lane County Jail on the following charges:   
 - Unlawful Use of a Weapon   
 - Menacing   
 - Recklessly Endangering   
 - Coercion
