-11/02/26 - Update - LCSO #26-5314 - Missing Person Located On November 1st at about 1:10 am, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a missing person from the 1200 block of Janus Court in Springfield. 30-year-old Avery Christopher Maitia had left the address at about 2:00 pm on October 31st. Maitia was ultimately located at an LTD station and contacted by LCSO Deputies. He was checked on and he has since been safely taken home. The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is grateful for all who helped in the search.
