2/19/26 - LCSO Case 26-0867 Eugene man missing in the Vida area east of Springfield The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 42-year-old Michael Trevor Owen Naughton of Eugene. Naughton was reported missing earlier today after walking to get gas for his vehicle in the Vida area of McKenzie Highway, east Springfield. Lane County Sheriff's Search & Rescue is actively searching the area with assistance from Oregon State Police as well as drone operators from Mohawk Valley Fire and Upper McKenzie Rural Fire Protection District. His vehicle, a silver 2009 Ford Fusion with Idaho plates, has also not been located. Naughton may have driven or hitchhiked back into Eugene. Naughton is described as a white male adult, standing approximately 5’10” tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. It is unknown what he was last wearing.
