Description
A 49-year-old woman died in Northeast Portland’s Inverness Jail Thursday, the second in-custody death in Multnomah County this year.
Sharon Lee Watkins was booked in jail Monday and was found unresponsive Thursday around 8 a.m., the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. Deputies and corrections health staff were unable to revive her and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
