ATV operator killed in crash on Crow Road
On August 1st at about 4:30 p.m., Lane County Sheriff’s deputies responded along with Oregon State Troopers and fire personnel to a vehicle that crashed into a pedestrian in the 26300 block of Crow Road, southeast of Veneta.
Initial investigation showed a 2010 Subaru Impreza struck an ATV that was crossing Crow Road. The operator of the ATV died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Subaru remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. Crow Road remained closed for about 3 hours during the investigation by the Lane County Sheriff’s Crash Reconstruction Team.
The deceased was identified as Scott Alan Kayser, 63, of Eugene.
