Description
A New Building will be More Cost-Efficient – The pilings supporting the library building have failed, causing the building to shift, resulting in structural cracks and leaks. Additionally, the library’s outdated HVAC system and aging electrical systems need to be repaired and updated. The cost of making the repairs and necessary improvements to the current structure is equal to or exceeds the cost of a new building. A new building at either location will provide additional space to increase our collections and programs as well as an energy efficient, flexible space that can grow with our community.
