A Democratic congressional candidate in Hawaii is facing felony charges after a confrontation at a Maui beach escalated into a widely shared social media video and resulted in his arrest, according to law enforcement officials. Kirill Basin, who is running in Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District, was taken into custody following the incident and remains jailed on a $1 million bond, Fox News reported.
