Description
After more than 27 years in law enforcement, Detective Michelle Hahn has retired from the Hillsboro Police Department.
Michelle began her career with the Cornelius Police Department in 1998 and joined HPD in 2002. Throughout her career she served in many roles including Street Crimes, the Clandestine Lab Team, EVOC instructor, TRUST member, and the Major Crimes Team, where she spent 12 years. For the past 17 years she served as a detective.
Michelle was known for being there for fellow department members during difficult times and for her dedication to victims, especially in some of the most challenging child abuse cases. Her work helped bring justice and support to people who needed it most.
We are grateful for Michelle’s dedication, professionalism, and service to the Hillsboro community. Please join us in thanking Detective Hahn for her remarkable career and wishing her the very best in retirement.
