At 8:31 a.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service released an air stagnation advisory in effect until 4 p.m. for North Central Oregon.

The weather service describes, "Poor air quality will continue. This is due to an inversion and stagnant air conditions near the surface that will continue to trap pollutants."
