Coos Bay Public Library, 525 Anderson Ave., Coos Bay, OR - Power Play for the Planet with the Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural History, Thursday, July 31 in the Myrtlewood Room, 10:00am – 11:00am.  Saving planet Earth together can be loads of fun! Join interpretive specialists from the Museum of Cultural and Natural History to play games, solve puzzles, and tackle wacky challenges. The whole family will enjoy exploring the environment, designing solutions, and imagining a brighter future. Let’s do this!  Geared towards elementary age kids and families.  Presented by the Museum of Natural and Cultural History, University of Oregon.  Pinterest-Inspired Series, Thursday, July 31 in the Myrtlewood Room, 2:30pm – 4:00pm.  Join us for a 3-part Pinterest-inspired program series on up-cycling materials.  July 31 - Cubism Style Art Mobiles.  All supplies are provided, but participants are invited to bring their own fabric scraps, scarves/bandannas and jar lids.  Ages 13 and Up.
