Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month

CBPL release - Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by participating in an all ages reading challenge. Beginning May 1 and continuing through 31, the Coos Bay Public Library is offering a reading challenge to encourage people of all ages to read (or listen) to titles by Asian and Pacific Island authors. For each book read, participants will earn an opportunity to win a $50 gift card to a local Asian or Pacific Island restaurant. Entry forms are available at the library’s front desk. The program is open to all ages.
