Two Portland city councilors released a letter Tuesday demanding that Mayor Keith Wilson take stronger action to enforce land use and nuisance rules at the South Portland U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility. The letter calls out federal agents for using tear gas on protesters on Saturday — which councilors say violates a new city code.
