COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE NOTICE  
  
The City of Coos Bay and the International Port of Coos Bay are working to evaluate the feasibility of developing a ±100-acre site in Eastside to accommodate the City’s housing needs. We are inviting interested residents and other stakeholders to join us in two community open houses to learn about the project and background work completed to-date and to share your ideas for how to make the best use of this property.

Community Open House #1: Project background and scope, work completed to-date, summary of existing conditions, solicit ideas for future development  
  
Wednesday, March 11 at 6 p.m.  
Eastside Elementary School Cafeteria  
370 2nd Ave, Coos Bay, OR 97420  
   
Community Open House #2: Discussion topics: Geotechnical findings, summary of financial analysis, discuss site development alternatives  
  
Wednesday, March 25 at 6 p.m.  
Eastside Elementary School Cafeteria

In addition, a project presentation will be given to the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay’s Board of Commissioners at their public meeting on March 19 at 11 a.m. at 125 Central Avenue, Suite 230, Coos Bay, OR 97420.
