CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW CADETS | Welcome six of our newest Hillsboro Police Cadets. These dedicated and driven young adults devoted every one of their Saturdays for the last 12 weeks to attend the Clackamas County Interagency Cadet Academy. Hillsboro Police Cadets are young adults between the ages of 15 and 20 who are passionate about serving their community. Through volunteer work, the program promotes civic engagement and offers cadets a behind-the-scenes look at how the Police Department operates. Participants gain hands-on experience in a variety of support roles and develop valuable skills in leadership, professionalism, and responsible decision-making. Many cadets go on to careers in law enforcement, while others apply their experience in different fields. We’re now accepting applications for our next group of cadets.
