Congratulations to our newest Corrections Academy graduates!  
  
Deputies Lyon, Petersen, and Evans graduated from the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards & Training (DPSST) Basic Corrections Class on Friday after 6 weeks of academy training.  
  
Deputy Evans also received the Victor G. Atiyeh Outstanding Student Award, selected by students and staff. The award recognizes exceptional professionalism through an exemplary attitude and outstanding achievement in leadership, academics, health & fitness, and survival skills.   
  
These deputies will also complete several months of field training at the Lane County Jail. We look forward to your continued service to our community at the jail and beyond!
