Congratulations to our newest graduate from the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards & Training (DPSST) Basic Police Academy!   
  
Deputy Stroming graduated from Basic Police Class #452 today after 16 weeks of training. He has served as a deputy for several years at the jail and on transport prior to this additional training. He is also a Tactical Emergency Medic on the Lane County Sheriff's Special Response Team.   
  
From here, Deputy Stroming will continue field training on patrol for several more months.   
  
We look forward to your continued service to our community out on the road and beyond!
