Coos Bay-North Bend Rotarians and members of the Rotary Foundation Foundation presented a check to the City of Coos Bay for $10-thousand dollars. The funds will be used to purchase a new battery operated rescue tool for the department. The new combo-tool, once known as the “Jaws of Life” will expand rescuer’s ability to quickly extricate a patient that is trapped in a motor vehicle accident. The club made another grant to the City of North Bend earlier this year. More recently the foundation made smaller grants to the North Bend Senior recreation and Activity Center and Little Theatre on the Bay to purchase Automatic External Defibrillators for their facilities.Photos from Coos Bay - North Bend Rotary's post
