COOS BAY POLICE HOST FREE CAR SEAT CLINIC
The Coos Bay Police Department, in partnership with the Oregon Department of Transportation, is hosting a Free Car Seat Clinic on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in front of Coos Bay City Hall, located at 500 Central Avenue.
This community-focused event offers parents and caregivers the opportunity to have their child’s car seat inspected by certified technicians. Proper installation is critical to child passenger safety, and this clinic ensures that families receive expert guidance at no cost.
“There’s nothing more important than the safety of our children,” said Officer Deven Deck of the Coos Bay Police Department. “We’re proud to offer this service to help families travel safely.”
No appointments are necessary. Families are encouraged to stop by during the event hours.
