Dr. Jennifer Webster, M.D.

Family Practice Physician & Clinic Medical Director, Primary Care Clinic

Jennifer Webster, M.D. is a Family Practice Physician at Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center (SCHHC), where she also serves as the Medical Director for the Primary Care Clinic. Dr. Webster offers a full range of comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, and particularly enjoys the opportunity to care for entire families.

With 25 years of medical experience, Dr. Webster has practiced in Arizona, New Mexico, Alaska, and locally in Oregon at North Bend Medical Center and Bay Area Hospital. Her academic background includes teaching positions at the Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine in Coos Bay, and Washington University School of Medicine in Kodiak. Recognizing her dedication to patient care, she was voted Top Doctor of Kodiak Island in 2016-17 and was a silver medal recipient for Medical Provider from Toast of the South Coast in 2023.

Dr. Webster graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in psychobiology from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, completing her residency at the Banner Good Samaritan Family Medicine Residency Program in Phoenix, Arizona, where she also served as chief resident.

A passionate advocate for community and global health, Dr. Webster was a founding member of Hospice and Palliative Care of Kodiak. She has also served on multiple medical missions, including Medical Missions Dominica following Hurricane Maria, Central Brazil Missions with Project Amazons, and humanitarian work with Samaritan’s Purse.

Dr. Webster lives on the Oregon coast with her husband, who serves in the U.S. Coast Guard, and has two grown sons. The family relocated to the area from Kodiak in 2017 and has spent the years since fully embracing life on the coast. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, running, kayaking, traveling, flying, and spending time with family and friends. When the coastal weather turns rainy, she also enjoys working on craft projects.

Dr. Webster appreciates being a part of the Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center team and values the ongoing opportunity to care for and connect with the Bandon community.
