Description
👋 It’s been a while since we’ve introduced ourselves. I’m Jenine, and here’s my mom, Pam and me from 2015– that was the year we opened Dragonfly Farm in Langlois! We started this business together with a passion for plants and connecting with people. We didn’t know much about running a business, but we were eager and excited to get our hands dirty and sell some plants to our community. We started at a small booth at the Bandon Farmers Market in 2014. It was so fun designing the booth with my mom and getting to pick out seeds and little plant plugs to pot up. It was even more fun to connect with the community over something so exciting to us— plants! We decided to open the business to the public at my mom’s property in 2015… little by little we kept growing the nursery areas. We couldn’t have gotten it to where it is now without the incredible crew of people who work with us and the amazing community that has showed up to support us.
This mother-daughter business venture has been quite the journey. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend the past 12 springs any other way… Here’s to season 13– thank you! 💜
