Description
Honoring the Life and Service of Officer Scott Hanley
We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Officer Scott Hanley, who died Sunday following a medical event. Scott was an active-duty member of the Hillsboro Police Department at the time. He served as a police officer in Oregon for 26 years.
Officer Hanley served our community with dedication and courage during his time in the Patrol Division and Traffic Unit. He was a fearless advocate for public safety and never hesitated to put others first, and he was a well-regarded motor officer throughout the Pacific Northwest. His service, integrity, and commitment to this community will not be forgotten.
Our thoughts are with Officer Hanley’s family, loved ones, and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time. We are grateful for the outpouring of support shown by our community and our law enforcement partners throughout the region.
If you would like to help support the Hanley family during this difficult time, you may do so through this link: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/officer-scott-hanley-family
We ask that the community keep Officer Hanley’s family and the members of our department in their thoughts and prayers as we honor his life and service.
