Join us from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Saturday, January 17 to sample two Dolly themed specialty cocktails and enjoy Dolly-o-ke, Dolly Desserts, a Dolly photo booth, and more! This is a 21+ fundraising event with an $18.00 entry, cash is preferred. Valid government ID required. Get your flashiest outfit and join us in the celebration of Dolly Parton! WHY A FUNDRAISER? Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to children from birth to age five, through funding shared by Dolly Parton and local community partners. In Coos Bay alone, we have 700 kids a year involved with this incredible program. But it does cost us $25.00 a year per kid to keep them enrolled. We here at the Coos Bay Public Library love Dolly Parton. So, we wanted to throw her a birthday party in celebration of everything that she does and use it as an opportunity to fundraise to make sure that the kids can keep reading.
