January is School Board Appreciation Month, and we are grateful for the dedication and leadership of our seven Coquille School District Board members: Steve Britton, Melinda Millett, Marsha Frost, Sharon Nelson, Heather Echavarria, Kayla Pritchett, and Lucas Taylor.

Serving on a school board requires countless hours of preparation, thoughtful decision-making, and a genuine commitment to doing what is best for students, staff, and our community. Our board members volunteer their time to guide district goals, set policy, oversee finances, and support the long-term success of our schools—all while balancing careers, families, and community responsibilities.

We sincerely thank each of you for your service, your leadership, and your dedication to Coquille students. Your commitment helps shape a strong and supportive future for our schools. 💙📚
