What started as a dangerous situation in Shute Park ended safely thanks to patience, teamwork—and K9 Mac. On June 23rd, community members called 911 about a man on a rooftop throwing objects at children. When officers arrived, the suspect—32-year-old Oscar Dorantes-Mondragon—refused to come down, openly used methamphetamine in front of police, and repeatedly threatened officers with a knife.
