Description

The Republican leaders of an anti-tax hike referendum campaign, including Rep. Ed Diehl of  Scio at the podium, filed a lawsuit seeking to stop Democrats from moving a statewide tax vote from November to May.

A Marion County Circuit Court judge said he will rule quickly on a case brought against the Oregon secretary of state by Republican lawmakers and voters over the timing of a gas tax referendum.
