Under the subject line, “More opportunities await …..,” SWAT Sgt. Jamin VanMeter wrote in his email,

Gov. Tina Kotek declined to issue her own response to an Oregon State Police recruiting email for its SWAT unit that boasted about fatal shootings and asked if troopers were “jonesing” to fire less-lethal munitions launchers and set off explosives.
