MAKE NEW FRIENDS AT THE COOS BAY PUBLIC LIBRARY

The staff at the Coos Bay Public Library know how challenging it can be to make new friends once you’re an adult. One way to meet new people with similar interests is to come to Library programs! For men, we have a weekly group that meets every Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. to hang out, eat some snacks and discuss life. This coming Monday September 8, the group will be holding an open house from 5-8 p.m. with pizza and drinks so that men aged 18 and up can see what the group is all about! If a men’s group isn’t what you are looking for how about learning a new game? Tuesday from 4-5:30 p.m. we will be hosting a program where anyone can learn to play Magic the Gathering. Bring some magic to your life with this fun game. Still not sure? What about some exercise at the community Zumba class on Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 p.m.? Teens and adults are welcome to join this beginner friendly class and dance to Latin and world music beats in a fun, non-judgmental atmosphere.
