The federal government announced lower prices for 15 widely used or costly medications, following Medicare’s negotiations with drugmakers to rein in federal drug costs. The price cuts, which take effect in 2027 and apply only to Medicare, are expected to save the government billions of dollars. The injectable drug Ozempic is shown, July 1, 2023, in Houston.

Pharmaceutical companies have agreed to slash the Medicare prices for 15 prescription drugs after months of negotiations, reductions that are expected to produce billions in savings for taxpayers and older adults, the Trump administration said.

Slow down - a ticket is not what she had in mind when she asked if you could bring napkins. - Take time to connect with loved ones. Though we’re just a 911 call away, your friends and family really are more fun to share the day with.
