This is all to comply with President Donald Trump’s 2025 “Restoring American Seafood Competitiveness” Executive Order (EO 14276), which seeks to address overregulation and unfair trade practices in order to make the United States “the world’s dominant seafood leader.” (AP Photo/Lynne Sladky)

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) recently announced new priorities that seek to reestablish America’s seafood competitiveness.
