Description
Oregon Health Plan members who have a health condition that gets worse during hot weather or due to poor air quality and who are undergoing a life transition can still apply for an air conditioner, air filter or other device through a federally funded climate benefits program called Health-Related Social Needs. A story in Wednesday editions incorrectly stated the program was out of funding. A separate state-funded program that also distributed air conditioners and filters is now closed to applicants.
