Portland State is two wins away at the Big Sky tournament from its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2009.

No. 1-seeded Portland State pulled away down the stretch as the Vikings fended off an upset bid by No. 9 Idaho State to advance in the Big Sky men’s basketball tournament Sunday in Boise.
