NOTICE IS HEREBY given that a new limited on-Premises sales license application has been submitted by Skywater Tea House LLC dba Skywater Tea & Wine located at 1601 B SE River Rd, Hillsboro, OR 97123 with the Hillsboro Police Department.

House Bill 2264 – Passed during the 2021 legislative session and was effective on June 8, 2021. This bill adds the privileges of the Off-Premises Sales license to the Limited and Full On-Premises Sales license. They now include the privilege of selling factory-sealed containers of malt beverages, wine and cider to-go for off premises consumption and for delivery.

Full On-Premises Sales – Allows the sale of malt beverages, wine, and cider in factory sealed containers for consumption off the licensed premises and allows sample tastings of malt beverages, wine, and cider. In addition, a Full On-Premises Sales license may now sell a factory-sealed container of any size for take-out (KEGS) (not delivery – delivery is limited to 2 gallons) of malt beverages, wine, or cider with the privileges of the Full On-Premises Sales license.

Limited On-Premises Sales – Allows the sale of malt beverages, wine, and cider in factory sealed containers for consumption off the licensed premises and allows sample tastings of malt beverages, wine, and cider.

Full On-Premises Sales – Allows the sale and service of distilled spirits, malt beverages and wine for consumption on the licensed premises.

Limited On-Premises Sales –Allows the sale of malt beverages, wine and cider for consumption on the licensed premises, and the sale of kegs of malt beverages for off premises consumption.

Off-Premises Sales – Allows the sale of malt beverages, wine, and cider in factory sealed containers for consumption off the licensed premises and allows sample tastings of malt beverages, wine, and cider.

Brewery Public House – Allows the manufacture, storage, sale, and exportation of malt beverages. Retail sales may be for on- or off-premises consumption. Also allows sales of wine and cider containing no more than 21% alcohol.

Wholesale Malt Beverage and Wine – Allows importation, storage, import, export and wholesale sale of wine (21% alcohol or less) to wholesale and retail licensees; allows wine tastings, and the sale of wine and malt beverages for customers to drink at the business and “to go” in sealed containers.

Distillery – Allows the import, manufacture, distilling, rectifying, blending, denaturing and storage of spirits with an alcoholic content greater than 17% by weight; only allows sale of such alcohol in Oregon to the Oregon Liquor Control Commission unless licensee has been appointed as a retail sales agent. (The transport of such alcohol for sale out of state is allowed. Tastings of brandy or pot distilled liquor by visitors on the licensed premises is allowed.)
