Description
On June 9th, 2025, HPD proudly joined law enforcement agencies across the state in carrying the “Flame of Hope” as part of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics.
More than just a run, this tradition symbolizes unity, inclusion, and the unwavering support of our Special Olympics athletes. Since its start in 1981, LETR has grown into a powerful movement, with officers serving as “Guardians of the Flame” — honoring the courage and determination of these incredible individuals.
It’s always an honor to take part, and we’re proud to help light the way toward a more inclusive world.
