Trail Blazers play Phoenix in team’s biggest game since 2021 — but you need Prime Video to see it
The Trail Blazers are set to face the Phoenix Suns tonight in the NBA Play-In Tournament, Portland’s first postseason matchup in five years.
It’s an exciting time for fans of the team, but they’ll have to pay a premium to see the game.
Amazon Prime Video has exclusive rights to broadcast the play-in as part of its 11-year media rights agreement with the NBA. That means you’ll need an Amazon Prime subscription to tune in.
It’s a growing trend in sports, one that’s frustrated Blazers fans. (Riley Martinez)

Through winding hallways and down a couple staircases in North Portland’s Jefferson High School is what’s known as “The Dungeon.”
But this is no crypt. It’s a dance studio and home to the Jefferson Dancers, a storied program at the school celebrating its 50th year.
The dancers are nationally renowned, having racked up awards and toured around the globe.
