Description

Several thousand people marched from Elizabeth Caruthers Park to the ICE facility on Saturday, Jan 31. Federal agents deployed tear gas and flash-bang grenades on the demonstrators when they arrived at the building after some in the crowd crossed the facility's property line.

Democrats in Oregon’s congressional delegation demanded Tuesday that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security pull its agents out of Portland after they launched tear gas at a crowd of protesters that included children and seniors.
