Description

Oregon data centers will collect more than $450 million in local property tax breaks this year. That includes $85 million from an incentive program that could double in size through legislation pending in Salem.

Gov. Tina Kotek said Tuesday that data centers’ impact on Oregon is “not sustainable” at the current growth rate, citing the industry’s impacts on water, energy and community resources.
