Hundreds of people protest in front of the Portland ICE facility in the South Waterfront Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026.

A protester accused of punching and choking a police officer at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Portland’s South Waterfront in 2025 entered an Alford plea on Tuesday and was ordered to do community service.
