Description
There is no emergency ambulance protocol that can be performed by two paramedics that cannot also be performed by one paramedic and one Emergency Medical Technician. None. Intubation, IV therapy, defibrillation and more can be performed by one paramedic who is assisted by one EMT, ("Portland-area ambulance provider still responding too slowly to emergencies despite improvements,” April 23).
