Recall petition targets Oregon sheriff over DUI arrest

Description

Sheriff Terry L. Rowan was arrested last year on Interstate 84 in Gilliam County. He failed a field sobriety test and later submitted a breath sample that showed a blood-alcohol content of .19.

Frustrated Umatilla voters have launched a petition to recall the county sheriff following his arrest for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
