Ava Crews, 17, died after the UTV she was riding in May 18, 2025, flipped. She was a Scappoose High School student.

A Scappoose school board member resigned last week, more than two months after a 17-year-old student died in a UTV crash that her parents have said occurred on the former board member’s property.
