With 100°+ temperatures expected through Tuesday, several cooling centers are open to help you escape the heat.
@C.H.A.N.C.E. at 231 Lyons St SE is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
2nd C.H.A.N.C.E. Shelter at 1100 Jackson St SE is open 24/7.
First Christian Church at 432 Ferry St SW is open Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
St. Mary’s Church at 815 Broadalbin St SW is open Monday from 5 to 6 p.m.
Albany Public Library at 2450 14th Avenue SE is open Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
