The City of Coos Bay Public Works Department has contracted with Patrick Myers Tree service, to remove three street trees along North 3rd street between Commercial Avenue and Central Avenue, on Monday, July 14, 2025. To complete the work, N. 3rd Street will be closed between Commercial Avenue and Central Avenue and there will be detour signs to route traffic around the work site. It is anticipated that work will only take one day, and the road will be open in both directions by the end of the workday. Please slow down and take caution when near the construction zone.
