Description

A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Thursday at 3:29 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 4:15 p.m. for Eastern Curry County and Josephine County.

Expect nickel-sized hail (0.88 inches) and wind gusts of up to 50 mph.

If you are looking for something to do on Wednesday night, Movie Night at the Library will be taking place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tween, teens, and adults are invited to enjoy free popcorn and beverages while watching Josie and the Pussycats starring Rachael Leigh Cook, Tara Reid, and Rosario Dawson. Rated PG-13. On Thursday from 6-7 p.m. Creature Teachers will be at the Library. Kids from toddler to school age are invited to come and learn about the wonderful world of animals. Creature Teachers will bring seven to ten animals and talk about them followed by a meet and greet! Don’t forget the Library is out in the community every Friday morning! From 9-9:30 a.m. our van is parked at the fire station in Eastside and from 10-10:30 a.m. it is parked at the fire station in Empire. Drop off your checked out books with us and we will bring them back to the Library for you. Plus, we give away free books every week - so come check out what we have to offer!
