Tomorrow is our first Community Open House for the Eastside Feasibility Study hosted by the City of Coos Bay and the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay. Join us at the Eastside Elementary Cafeteria, 370 2nd Avenue at 6 p.m.

The open houses will provide an opportunity for community members to learn more about the study, review initial information, and share feedback with project staff. The study is intended to evaluate whether the site could support future housing development and what opportunities or constraints may exist.

Addressing housing availability is a priority for communities across Oregon’s South Coast, and this study represents an early step in exploring potential solutions that could support additional housing and long-term community growth.

Community members are encouraged to attend and participate in the conversation. We welcome ideas and feedback from residents about how this property could best serve the community’s future needs.

No development decisions have been made at this time, and community input will help inform next steps
