VOLUNTEERS LEND THEIR SKILLS TO MINGUS PARK COMMUNITY BUILDING -Spring Cleanup for Historic WPA Scout Cabin  
  
The City of Coos Bay Parks Commission Adopt-A-Park Pilot Program would like to thank Derek David of Premier General Builders and Todd Pruett of At Your Service Construction for volunteering their time and the materials to help demo the old woodshed and construct the new storage shed at the Mingus Park Community Building-Historic WPA Scout Cabin.  
  
The project began with prep on April 10 and ended April 14, with painting and priming to follow. The builders were joined by Coos Bay City Councilor and Park Commissioner Carmen Matthews, City of Coos Bay Park Commissioners Jamie Fereday and CoCo Sutton, Mingus Park Community Building-Historic WPA Scout Cabin Host Mike McLarrin, Oregon Trail Council of Scouts BSA Chinook-Wacoma District Director Mark Stueve and volunteer Michael Thompson, cellar hand at 7 Devils Brewing Company. THANK YOU ALL!!
