Description

Changes to how the tax is dispersed would mean a big boost for the county’s smaller libraries. Some city leaders aren’t happy with the change.

Voters in Washington County have the choice to increase a property tax keeping local libraries afloat, and with it could come controversial changes to how those dollars are doled out.
