On Tuesday at 1:41 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid for Wednesday between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m. for Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon and Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
"Snow and very strong winds expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 75 mph," describes the weather service. "Near-blizzard conditions characterized by very strong winds and low visibility are expected with the passage of a strong cold front Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. Temperatures will fall quickly with the passage of the cold front."
